1-2-3-4 Warranty
1 year Limited Warranty: All components originally installed or
manufactured by Universal Feed & Machine will be defect-free for a
period of One year after date of shipment. This warranty includes
parts and labor required to replace parts determined to have factory defects.
2 year Limited Warranty: All purchased mechanical components originally
installed by Universal Feed & Machine, including bearings, gears,
straightener jacks, cabinet jacks, castings, sprockets and chains
for a period of Two years after date of shipment. Excludes “wear” surfaces.
3 Year Limited Warranty: All parts manufactured by Universal Feed & Machine,
including frames, side plates, end members, weldments, mandrels and
rollers for a period of Three years after date of shipment.
Excludes “wear” surfaces.
4 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty:
The Control Techniques Unidrive SP servo drive on the feed will be
warranted for Four years from the date of shipment of the feed.
After Universal Feed & Machine standard warranty expires the drive
manufacturer supports this warranty.
WARRANTY COVERAGE:
Universal Feed & Machine warrants its products against defects in
material or workmanship as stated above from date of shipment.
Parts claimed defective must be returned; freight pre-paid, to our
plant in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Any part claimed defective and
determined to be by our factory will be replaced or repaired
(at our option) free of charge, F.O.B. our plant.
Our Standard warranty is void if appropriate maintenance procedures
have not been followed, the unit has been tampered with, altered in
any manner, or operated with parts other than those supplied or
recommended by Universal Feed & Machine. In no event shall
Universal Feed & Machine be held liable for special, indirect,
incidental or consequential damages, however arising.
Universal Feed & Machine. does not guarantee the equipment to
meet the requirements of any federal, state or local safety
codes and the end user wholly accepts all risk and liability
resulting from the use individually or in conjunction with any
other equipment.
Any change in the materials, design, or performance intended to
improve any product of Universal Feed & Machine shall not obligate
Universal Feed & Machine to modify any previously manufactured equipment.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN,
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
